Interesting Seattle fact


The Space Needle, Seattle's 605-ft tower built for the 1962 World's Fair, and a touchstone of so-called "Googie" architecture, was originally painted orange.

  1. I never new that, thanks for the info. Perhaps, it would have looked very stylish with an atomic-age orange coat.
